Born into a musical family, Chad Wade studied piano as a child and purchased his first guitar at age 14. He studied the electric guitar with Greg Nipp and played in several bands throughout high school and college. He later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he studied classical guitar under Cuban Master Mario Abril. Chad has performed at a variety of venues over the years, from intimate weddings to large benefit concerts (the largest being 7,000). He has taught both private and group lessons to different ages and skill levels for over seven years. He has been certified as a TakeLessons and Taylor Robinson Music instructor.
During a six-year internship with the youth ministry of Silverdale Baptist Church, Chad developed an enthusiasm for working with children and teenagers. Chad now serves as Music Pastor for Encounter Church in Darien, CT.
